12 to 24 Volts Variable Voltage Converter.
120-Watt version

New, never used DC Voltage Converter Module. Converts 12 volts DC from a battery or power supply, to a variable 12 to 24 V DC voltage. Output power is 120 WATTS. That means 10 amps output current at 12 volts, or 6.6 A at 18 volts, or 5 amps at 24 volts. You can turn the knob to dial any voltage between 12 and 24 volts.
Handy whenever you need more than 12 volts. Input voltage is 7 to 14 volts, so it can be powered from a 7.2-volt nicad or lithium ion battery pack, or from a small 12-volt lead acid battery. Can also be used when camping or whenever you need higher voltage from your car's cigarette jack. And since many laptops use about 15-volt 3-amp power supplies, this module could be used to power or recharge such laptops from a car's battery.
For full power output (120 W), the battery or power supply should be able to deliver 12 amps. Has very high efficiency, 89% which is better than most transformers. Output power can be increased by about 20% by adding a small cooling fan. Output is regulated.
Can also be used to vary speed of 24-volt DC Motors or Fans, although it will not reduce their speed all the way to zero.
These are almost sold out, only a few left.
This is NOT A KIT, this module is fully assembled as shown in the picture.
Will control loads of up to 120 watts. Comes with instructions. If you need more power, two of these can be connected in parallel when small modification is made. We can tell you how to do that, or make it for a small fee.
